I'd be inclined to take a D5 clutch to a Volvo specialist. Others wished they did in other threads.

I've been doing more searching on here, maybe the quote was about right then? The garage did say they they might be able to knock around £80 off the quoted clutch price (I think they said it was around 200-250 quid but they'd probably be able to get an equivalent non-genuine volvo which was just as good and cheaper; cant remember the make he said) and they quoted 169 I believe for the slave cylinder; does this sound about right?
