No, but you can test them scientifically with the right tool by just removing one pipe. I have the tool, and would be happy to test it for you when I'm next in the area (or you're in mine!). It's unlikely that the vibration is linked to the servicing, but you're right to question whether or not both need to be replaced.
In other news, my solenoid was switching over at 1000rpm today, not 1500. It was from a cold start...do we think that might make a difference? Perhaps it switches to 1500rpm above a certain coolant temperature? cheers James
