"On Call Deactivated"
Since my original, free 2 year Volvo On Call subscription expired back in October I've been getting the "On Call Deactivated" message on the dash with the yellow warning light, and having to press the "read" button to clear it every time I start the car. A minor annoyance yes, but an annoyance nonetheless.
Having searched the forums there were several similar occurrences, some reporting that it would go away on it's own after a couple of weeks (it didn't), others saying it'd be there forever. Eventually had a chat with my dealer this morning and he reported that he's able to activate the "security only" part of the service for free, thus removing the error message. It's going in for some other work next week so they'll do this at the same time. I'll let you know the outcome

Volvo On Call Deactivated
I get this message too once the message "... is about to expire" stopped popping up.
I contacted my dealer but they said they cannot remove this message. Would you give me the Dealer Name and location so I could make contact? Thanks, |
