Thanks. I was sure I wouldn't put the rubber pads on but really liked the look of them in the end.

And the added bonus is my wife approves of all this. She even came out and had a look when I got home. She's never done that after BMW/VAG mods!

Can you paste the Ebay url again as the one higher up in the trail states they are £660, which is far too expensive for me.

When the price goes up to crazy levels like this, its often because the seller has no (or very little) stock, and its cheaper and easier for them to simply modify the advert price to something ridiculously high so that it receives no buyers, rather than to withdraw and then re-submitt the ebay advert.

If you watch that auction id be amazed if it wasnt at the normal <300 gbp mark again within a few weeks.

(A lot of the adverts seem expensive at the moment, its highly likely there is a general stock problem, seeing as all the imitation bars are made by the same company in China - just wait a few weeks/month to see what happens. Having said that, some cheaper examples:

The cheaper ones are back on Ebay now, at £259.99 so I think I will have a punt on those.

Well I have bought a set, and hopefully they will be with me tomorrow.

Side steps received and fitted and they look decent for the £255 spent.

Easy to fit, and although the joins between the bar and the mounting are not perfect, they certainly look the part.
