As it happens, we did own several 2 series cars back in the day, and I must confess to still having a 'soft spot' for them. My favourite 240, probably even my all-time favourite Volvo, was our '83 245 GLT (MOD) Diplomatic car.

A sign of the times perhaps, but in those days they changed hands for hundreds, rather than thousands, of pounds!

Sorry, that was actually two replies in one - the first part to you, the second to the other guy asking for any for sale! I always liked it, something about them. The lovely whine from the diff just great - like people say certain songs release memories etc, the diff whine does that for me

Hi due to a change in my personal circumstances, I will be selling my

I searched for some time and traveled far and wide prior to purchase
