Default S80 oxygen sensor replacement

After being confronted with a $2000 (US) price for O2 sensor replacement, I am wondereing if anyone has had experience with replacing all four on an S80 non-turbo. Are they reasonably accessible, and how can you determine which exact ones are required?

Thanks!

It is shocking what you are being quoted. I know that the manufacturer pays just over £10 per sensor when they buy them. Even with service mark-up and fitting, $2000 seems excessive!

They are easy to change, you either need an open ended spanner or the special tool (socket with a slot cut). Disconnect the battery, change the senrors and reconnect the battery. The ECM will re-adapt to the new sensors. If you disconnect them with the IGN on, then you will get DTCs and have to go to a dealer to clear them.
