And I was just thinking the other day, "time for another NW get together".

13th would be great. We'll probably be down on the Rainford bypass in the morning for time trial so a meet would round off a fine day. And it would be rude not to at least drop by on the way home

Is there somewhere nearby to eat as no doubt by mid-day we'll be ravenous?

Anyone mind if I post on other Volvo forums?

Hi Robbie,
If you plan coming down the East Lancs Road to Leigh from Rainford there is a Toby Carvery at Lowton where the A580 & A572 cross and that's about a mile and a half from the flash.

Notification in other Volvo forums would be a good idea, please feel free.

Where the A579 and A578 cross about a mile away there is a KFC on the retail park and another carvery too.
Nearly directly oposite the flash entrance is a pub with a restaraunt - The Robin Hood. Iv'e never been in the afternoon but I would think they would be serving bar food as well on a Sunday.

Oh and by the way - there's usually a snack van at the flash that does hot dogs, burgers etc.

Hi Colin,

Count me in this time, the last meet clashed with the Father Xmas Special steam train between Bury & Ramsbottom which we take the grandchildren on each year. As I am not brave enough to cancel their day out I had to miss it.

Look forward to meeting up with old and new faces.
