Absolutely, will do, when I've worked out how to do it!

Go to "User CP" in the lower line of links at the top of the page, far left; "Settings and Options - Edit Signature" on the left of the page, and put what you want to appear as a signature in the edit box. Whatever you put there appears at the bottom of every posting you make.

Great, thanks for the info. I'll do it when I get back to my PC.

On my 2012, the main display has many more brightness levels than just two.
The green "cosy light" from the ceiling doesn't change at all, though.

On my 2008 model, what I've established is this: during the day the sat nav screen has two brightness levels, but when dark outside it dims with the rest of the instrumentation when user the adjuster.

I don't have built in sat nav but every type of hand held sat nav such as Tom Tom or Garmin that I have seen has a night mode setting. I set up Here Maps on my friends ASUS android tablet last week and it automatically changes to night mode at a set time according to the time zone and area. Same on my phone.

My friend's 2005 Range Rover's built in sat nav does the same. (Not using it as the map is actually from 2003) A sat nav screen that does not have a night mode would surely be a little dangerous due to the screen's brightness at night?

My built-in RTI system does the same, if you want it to. But that's in addition to changing the brightness.
