Default 850 T5 sports exhaust

Looking for a sports or stainless exhaust for my T5. Nothing to big or loud, just something a little less subtle than the standard system.

just replace the 'suitcase' section under you car with a piece of 2 3/8" 304.

will cost no more than £20 in pipe and 10 mins to weld.

a full system wouldnt be cost effective - for instance JT stainless downpipes alone cost £680.

a full custom system would cost roughly £250 in materials (flange, flexi, o2 boss etc and may or may not use a cat) if you can weld yourself.

Many thanks. What noise level increase can I expect after replacing suitcase box and what difference does it affect the running of the car? I’m not after increased performance just a nice burble.

Slightly more burble, no visible gains in power.

I got my stainless exhaust for my 850 t5 custom built from scratch for £340.
The place I used make as loud or as quiet as you want them.
When I picked mine up he said it was a bit louder than he expected and he would redo it if I wanted. Once I heard it there was no way I was changing it.
If I'm out giving it the message you can hear it coming streets away (not that I would ever drive like that.)
Everybody in my area uses him as the quality is good and prices are reasonable.

f.
Bit less than that - mine was around 500 I think (straight flange as you know)

They are bloomin' loud though, but a loverly burble. Expensive, yes
