General: - Sat Nav upgrade on 2010 V70

I have purchased a set of sat nav upgrade discs for my 2010 V70 from my dealer. I have followed the same procedure as for my wife's 2009 C30 (which worked perfectly). Nothing happens - the screen does not change. I rang the dealership who talked me through it in case I was doing anything wrong - same result.

Does anyone have experience of this issue - or does it look like a costly unit replacement?

You sure that they are the same systems? I suspect that they are not

When you say 'the screen doesn't change' - what are you expecting to see? Have you checked if the map version / date has updated?

If you've got the pop up screen then you've got MMM2 system but if its a fixed screen in the centre of the dash then it's the HDD version. Does the info on the back of the pack match the type you've got?
