I'd buy a house for my mother-in-law. She's 80 and not well off, living in a fairly dreadful Section 8 (google it) apartment.

Car wise?

Tesla S 100D as a daily.

Aston Martin DB7 Vantage or GTA. This was my teenage-years hero car, the one I had posters of. Right now they're pretty much down at the bottom of their values. Yes, I know they're an XJS underneath. Yes, I know the interior is crap and full of mazda and ford bits. I don't care, it's beautiful!

I'd go and get my Grandad's Jensen Interceptor and bring it back to the UK.

I might embark on the odd mad project (current one would be an XC70 P3 with 2 nissan Leaf drivetrains in it).

I'd like a Riva Aquarama. Big V8s in a beautiful sleek body? Check. Ok, so it's not a car...

as a teenager I worked in the car park at Margate Dreamland, and one day Ronnie Corbett turned up driving one of these! black/silver too.
And SUCH a nice man.....so polite and friendly. No airs and graces, and apologised for being a dreadful parker, but visibility was a problem for him, even with the roof down. Eventually got more or less reverse parked in a space designed for a coach.
Then we asked to what did we owe the pleasure, and explained he was appearing at the Winter Gardens.
Which we told him was about a mile away......:-)
So he asked if one of us could direct him, and my colleague got to ride along the seafront with him.
Happy days.

I was idly browsing on ebay one day and my wife looked over my shoulder-
Why are you looking at tanks?
I thought i might buy one
Where are you going to park it?
In the front garden.
What will the neighbours say?
If I've got a tank, they probably won't dare say anything

But 'seriously', if money were no problem, I think I'd be like a few on here and start with a very large building to keep a collection in.

To paraphrase Mike Tyson, I'd buy a big bag of drugs and disappear into Bolivian...

Lancia Delta HF Integrale

And a Lancia Stratos, the old one, although I'd love a go in the new one too.
