There's plenty of clearance under the car to reach the propshaft without having the car up on a ramp. |

[QUOTE=RoyMacDonald;1930207]
Has anyone reached 200k with the original Euro 3 sleeve? /QUOTE] 2004 euro3 with 145k and still going strong. No mention of it in the history. Pulls my boat up a slippery slipway no problem so I know the 4WD is working. |

At 150,000 miles the car has lasted long on its original AWD. Still has, the physical AWD system is fine, but the DEM isn't working and I need a new one of those.

Got mine sorted 2 weeks ago. 2004 XC90 D5 (163)
It was in for a service 4 weeks ago and the indy told me that it was my transfer sleeve that was the problem - sending no drive to the rear wheels. Got it for £100 (a new one he had in his toolbox from an earlier cancelled job. I was told around £150 new) plus labour. Not sure how long the labour was as I got gearbox oil renewed and new intercooler on the same visit. £650 in total 5 hrs labour plus £155 for the intercooler & £50 for oil. Labour £45 per hr. |
