Default Volvo boot mounted subwoofer V70/XC70

Had this in my last car and it really improves the already great audio system. Wifey is against me taking out the boot seats in my current car to fit it, so may as well try and sell it!

Here we have a fairly rare I believe genuine factory boot mounted sub-woofer, complete with mounting brackets and carpet. I would put pictures on, but Flikr is driving me insane! I will update with pics when I can.

Also got all the boot panels (in black) to remove the rear boot seats that will go with it if the buyer wants.

It's very heavy and bulky, so will be collection only from Preston, Lancs.

I'm wanting £200 for it or very near offer.

You might be lucky and find it’s pre wired. If not, you’ll have to do what I did and find a scrapper that’s pre wired and very carefully unpick the amp sub loom from the main loom. If you’re very lucky, you’ll find the jack holder that’s specific to the cars fitted with sub woofers.

Unfortunately my plans have changed and I may be looking at changing my car for a late P2 T5/2.5T if a nice one pops up in a few months, so sticking hold of this a while longer.

They are a plug and play in most pre-facelift cars, look for a connector taped down around the middle of the boot. There may be 2 of them, the other is towing electrics. Wiring changed on facelift and is generally not fitted. I cut out a piece of the loom when I took it out of old car to aid fitting in none-wired cars.
