Default Polestar Upgrade

I have a D4 V60 Cross Country Auto, what’s the advantages of the Polestar Upgrade apart from it's faster?

Interesting, it seems very divided. I’m hoping to get something that’ll streamline the auto box a touch. The motors great but it needs a little more smoothing out if you get what I mean.

There has been the odd post about getting a try for free offer of the Polestar upgrade, check with the dealer to see what he will offer...

Sorry to resurrect this, but The Thong, did you have it done? Was it worth it?
It's still gnawing away at me and the wife says I can go ahead with it. I have clarified with the insurance company and its the compulsory excess that will be raised by £200 and my premium goes up £14.56 for the year. The offer ends on 30/9/18.

I would get it done.
It makes the auto MUCH BETTER, notwithstanding the power and torque increase
The car just drives better and, when you drop it into sport on the box, it flies!

Mines manual.
Intrigue has got the better of me, it's booked in for next week. The dealer says if I don't like it, then it can be taken out and money refunded. 2 week 'trial period'. The dealer wouldn't budge on price. £695 all in. There is a dealer in Huddersfield, Clive Brook Volvo, advertising 'from £649*', but when I made contact with them via their 'on-line chat' they wouldn't answer the question of what is the actual price for my vehicle. 'From' and '*' being the unknown factors!

I bet they'd charge you an extra £50 for the labour. Mine was £695 fitted & IMHO worth every penny.

Sticking my beast into sport suprises a few people

I've not seen many of those little blue badges on the road. One pulled up in front of me at a local garden centre the other day and I had to ask the chap what he thought of it. He bought it already 'upgraded' so he knew no different. He said it went like stink. Thankfully the wife heard his comment so she said I could go ahead with it as she knows how much I like the car. Watch this space.
Valid point re the Huddersfield dealership charging labour.
