A reg 240 DL Estate
I am parting with my 240 DL Estate, 1984 car and owned by me since 1987. It is showing the effects of age and some rough usage. Low mileage for the age,112,000. Main mechanicals are fine but bodywork is tired and some rust along door bottoms and spare wheels well.
Realistically this is a restoration project or a source for spares. I am happy to let it go to a Volvo enthusiast for anything over the (approx) £200 scrap value. Main details: B21 2.1 litre engine Carbureta not fuel injection 5 speed box Kenlowe electric fan Dog guard Coil and breaker ignition Sky blue Car is a runner but no MOT and currently on a SORN certificate. Car is based in Surrey |

Hi, if you'd be prepared to sell the dog guard separately please let me know, assuming it's a genuine Volvo item.

This sounds like a good car for someone who sees the potential and sees the price as a transfer fee, and the cost of recommissioning as the real price. Probably a very good buy for the right person. Good luck with your sale.

The Volvo is still available. Sorry no P/X. I am trying to reduce my fleet. I still have a 940 to look after.
