Default lowering springs

Hi guys, so the thing is that I'm on a hunt for a set of good lowering springs for my 99. T4 S40. I measured the distance from the center of the wheel to the highest point of the arch and I'm a bit worried that 40mm won't cut it (I want a bigger drop). And the thing is that everyone offers only 40mil ones. I came across a set of 60mm front and 50mm rear ones but then again, isn't that a bit too extreme? Will I need to shorten the struts? What is the best option here? Should I go with some ebay coils straight away? Sorry for my broken english

Cheap coilovers are rubbish. You get what you pay for and the quality shows. They ride bad and don't last very long.
