Default 18" Tucan wheels

I'm looking for some 18" wheels to replace the 17s my V60CC came with. I'm not a big fan of diamond cut wheels, so have probably ruled out the Ixions and similar, and have landed on the Tucans which were the OEM 18" style for my car.

So if anybody has a set they're looking to move on, please give me a shout. Thanks.

Steve

No, I have 17" wheels (and 235/55 R17 tyres). This is, AFAICT, the basic spec for the model year. I'm not unhappy with it - the ride is lovely and compliant - but the steering and turn-in is a little vague. I've come to this car from an Audi A2 with 205/45 tyres and steering and handling like a go kart, and I'm not expecting the same from the Volvo - and I'm frankly glad to lose the Audi's hard suspension - but I think (hope) a slightly shallower, slightly stiffer sidewall might give me a little more precision on the steering side without sacrificing much of the comfy ride.

Is yours the SE model as the SE Lux came with 18" as standard according to the brochure?

There's one Tucan on ebay but a bare wheel and not cheap

Yes, I've seen the eBay one but, as you say, not cheap. And close-up, the finish looks odd on that one.

Yes, the invoice says V60 Cross Country SE Nav. It has most of the extras that make it equivalent to Lux spec, as far as I can tell (certainly all the extras that I'd specced via the online configurator when contemplating buying a new one a few years back, apart from the TFT instruments, which I don't really miss).

Default other wheels also considered

I've also seen some other, XC60 wheels on eBay which would be suitable. Missed out on a set yesterday, but basically any decent condition, non diamond-cut 18" alloys from an XC60 or V60CC would be of interest.

So what you got?
