"My Volvo" has just given an estimated delivery date of 23 weeks.
If true, this is going to cause problems, as dealer has valued part exchange for early March, I have a trip to Germany, late March.

23 weeks. What have you specified - NX01 USS Enterprise with warp drives?

We sold our XC90 privately through eBay. We're getting by with our 2008 Vectra SRi & my son's Peugeot 206. We'll certainly appreciate the new one when it arrives then.

But seriously, what engine, transmission, trim and options have you specified in the order? I wonder if it's the eight speed auto box maybe that's causing the delay?

Metallic Bright Silver (711).
8 Speed Geartronic Transmission.

I hope that "My Volvo" is wrong, but you could be correct, as there may be a delay, on some components.
Will keep a check early January, but I do not know how I stand with dealer, if delivery is 23 weeks.

Only took two pics at the dealership. Drove 180 miles and it looked and felt amazing. No harsh ride on the 20" Titania wheels. Dark tint, body colour and wheels really make the car. I aim to post more pics at the weekend when it's had an entire clean through.

That's a great looking car, really.

With so few facelifted XC60s on the road right now it'll catch peoples' eyes as you whizz around, especially in white and on those wheels!

tem, I suspect the eight speed autobox. No evidence but just a hunch, coupled with the new i-ART D4 engine. Don't know about the dealer and the part-ex deal. Might choose to lay low on that front for a while and see what they say, if they say anything? Silent running!

Trying to get my order number recognised on the MyVolvo site. Not recognising the number that I have on my order confirmation/invoice (5 digit number). Slightly concerned about the delays being quoted here, was told my car (181 FWD geartronic) would be delivered late Feb/early March, ordered 1st week Nov. Will be in contact with dealer tomorrow to see if I can get an update.

I intended to lay low until January to see what update I get.
At the beginning of month, I was told 12 weeks to get car built and delivered.

The 'My Volvo' isn't properly up and running and will be fully launched in week 3. There are some teething errors that need ironing out and so therefore some people might not be able to register to view their order. I managed to register a few days ago although there isn't that much info apart from colour and variant (i.e. XC60). Volvo were surprised I had actually managed to register at all.

I ordered R design Lux Nav Geartronic FWD in the first week of Nov and the 'My Volvo' has given me an estimate of 16 weeks, so presume that is 16 weeks from now (not forgetting the 6 weeks that have already lapsed since my order).

Presumably inundated with back orders for what is proving to be a very popular engine line up.
