Lost art of overtaking and much more.
For some reason YouTube decided I needed a reminder of just how dangerous it can be on the roads. One of the sad things about this video is the number of seemingly innocent people who suffer as a result of someone else's accident.

Driving standards in Russia are very poor even compared to the poor standards we have here.
Real mixed bag but interesting to see how some drivers drove into the collision ahead and others took the right avoiding action

If you are interested in your driving and improving it. There is always room for improvement as no one is perfect. There are advanced driving courses one can take. IAM and ROSPA do them.
I prefer the ROSPA as you resit the test every 3 years so have on going assessment of your driving standard whereas IAM is I believe a once only test.

Pretty much all of those crashes were due to incompetence, mechanical failure, or falling asleep at the wheel. 5:03 has happened in the UK a few times.

Hardly any of them were overtakes, and those that were were just plain dumb areas to overtake, or people really racing on the roads. Like this chap:

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

This type of racing happens a lot around Birmingham. See instagram channel 'Brum Rockets'.
