  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Looking for Advice - 2010 V70 Android Auto Head Unit Upgrade
Hi Everyone,

New to these parts so please be nice hahaha.

I've just bought a 2010 V70 R-Design and I'm looking to remove the old radio and install an android auto unit so I can connect my phone and use google maps etc.

Had a quick look on YouTube and 99% of videos are relating to the Gen 2 models of V70, nothing really at all for the Gen 3.

The removal and installation isn't the bit that's troubling me, I'm just concerned about buying a decent quality head unit that'll do the job and fit plush, so that it looks as close to OEM fitted unit as possible.

Just curious to if anyone has done this before and knows of some quality head units for circa £200-£300.

take a look at some of the installs that have been done on c30 and v50s are they something like what you are looking for? there are a few on youtube
