Default Wheel alignment

Hi,

I bought a DIY alignment kit, as I'm tired of alignment shops always refusing to do anything but toe-in because "the system tells them to".

Problem is, finding a flat, level surface to measure on. My measurements change everytime I move the car. Is this normal?

Would this be a Trackace by any chance? If so, I find the same.

Trackace?

The toe-plates are B-G and the camber gauge is Motamec.

I don't think the tools is the problem.

Oh, OK. I have a kit from Trackace and exactly the same is happening. Measure it once and get one reading, measure it subsequently and get different readings each time. I have been blaming the kit!

Hmm... My measurements are consistent as long as I don't move the car...
