28, Drive a Volvo 740 as my daily and restoring her to her former glory as she has not had the TLC she deserves.

Previously have had all sorts, one of the best cars I've had was my X reg Vectra estate.

Have previously Owned an S Type Jag which was also a very very good car!

Good morning England !

Well, the carbon fourteen analysis dates my birth 53 years ago. I used to drive a couple of different cars :

404 peugeot,
DS citroen 21, Ami 6 Estate, 2CV AK 400 (this one learnt me the basics of mechanic, a piece of hip prosthesis, an elastic brief, and you can repair the car easily), Was my buddy which brought me from Tours, in France, to Royal Leamington Spa, when I got a job in UK. I used to let it park in the street, and several times, I found a paper under the wiper arm asking if it was to sell ... Drive on Uk motorway with that such of car, on the "wrong" side of the road , sidereal experience, like getting married in fact...
Toyota celica 1600 GT,
Daf 66,
Renault 4, 5, Scenic ph 1.

I discovered Volvo cars across movies, (Al president's men - one of the 2 journalists owned an amazon If I do remember) and I felt in love with the 850 Estate : then I stopped to live.

The first one was a 850 Estate Gentleman Tdi "Green English" in 2009. The toy. Then, a 850 Estate GLT 20 - 10 V a bit dangerous to try to drive safely on motorway due to the low-level powerful engine...

Then, I got the level over, a 850 GLT Estate, 2,5L 20 V, a rocket to compare to the one before...

And now the VV 70 Estate TDI with SC 901.

Having owned a long line of RWD Volvos since 1984, culminating in the long term ownership of a 745, I would much rather it was a 965 or V90.

We also own two Saabs; a 9 - 3 convertible, which was a default purchase because we could not find a nice C70; and also a 9000 'Griffin', which replaced my wife's long term ownership 744 when she could not find a nice 964 to do so.

What does that say about us?

Regards, John.
It must say something as I'm also 68 and drive a 2000 V70 auto. It's the classic model with a diesel engine. The first Volvo I have owned, and it's a great car.

Age 33 and drive an 88 740 estate, amongst other things...
The 740 is my newest car though!

I'm far from new to Volvo's either having my first, a 340, at 18 years old. I've had a 340, 244, 2 x 740's (one saloon, one estate) and an 850 so far.
