Default Adblue riddle

This is somewhat confusing! Seems like the new XC60 D4 and D5 are without Adblue whereas the D4 XC40 has a 14.5 litre Adblue tank. Any ideas why?

They all have Adblue now, they have just been selling off the last of the non Adblue stock.

Well my advice after two years of Adblue is to buy it from an Air Blue pump that some petrol stations have. I've filled up 3 times already, cost was 69p per litre at the last fill up. £70 at the BMW dealership to fill up, less than a tenner at the pump!

Really? I thought this new 2.0l engine was under the emissions limit for adblue. My car was new last September.....have I got an old engine then?

My new xc60 has Adblue, just before Christmas they were discounting non Adblue cars. Could be something to do with with the problems they had with the old emissions system, or it could be to meet the new emission controls that are coming out.

Spoke with the dealer today who informed me that it was to meet the criteria for the upcoming Euro 6 revisions.

Did you know that AdBlue is just concentrated pee. As in urea.
And all AdBlue is the same, you don't need "Volvo" brand.
