Jamie, did you know i have already had a forced regen and the results were that is was empty.

It sits on the ruight hand side of the oil filter just take off the black hose to the intake manifold the one with the 90 degree bend.. remove the bolts holding the fuel lines in place to get at the torx bolts on top of the valve... 10 minute job.. I had the soot filter full message reappearing after all of my repairs until I did the Liquimolly clean, this was simple using the liquid and a small weed killer bottle from Argos.... I have only put a hundred miles or so on the car since the DPF clean but the car was never as good, in terms of mpg or sheer power and acceleration. |

Sorry, I thought that it had blocked again after the regen? If it is DEFINITELY empty but you are still getting the warning then its a sensor issue, which hopefully won't be as expensive!

osullivant, I had nothing in the catch tank either, in my case the oil was all getting into the combustion chamber passed the piston rings, not being forced through the breather.
The test will be that if the car is still blocking the DPF when the PCV is disconnected then that isn't the problem. |

And there is a hissing air leak around the swirl flap control arm
|
