Volvo 240 SE model. cold start problem
Hi All,
When ambient temperature is 30-35 degrees, engine starts but runs poorly then picks up and settles to variable tick over. eventually settles to aprox 1000 RPM. Engine then starts normally during the rest of the day. today it started ok even though the temperature was down to freezing, any ideas from anyone how to remedy this problem. many thanks. DJC. |

Have you tried the things discussed in the other thread on Intermittant Start Problem?
As it really does seem to be specifically cold start related, I'd test the hot and cold resistances of the cold-start temperature sensor first. (In the block under the inlet manifold) |
