It's nothing, I just thought it would be nice to spend some time together darling... I've just got to pop in and pick up a car while we're there..'

I'm afraid that's a bit out of my league though, the best I could manage was popping in to FRF to pick up some track rod ends when we had a short break in Swansea last year.
used to be an option with Mercedes....probably still is with Ferrari

Drove 220 mile return to see and purchase then got a ride one way a week later to fetch it.

Had driven an 850 mile weekend to see 2 of them earlier in the search.

Should I add it all up? 1510 mi.

With the current saga..... to damn far....... TO BE CONTINUED..

Furthest I think would be 580 miles round trip for an E34 520i. Absolute barge. £108 to fill and only 360miles range..

The longest one I have done so far is from Orkney to Glasgow to pick up a Mazda 6, which also was my most expensive car to date being £1500, which also turned out to be a typical Mazda with rotten sills and even having a rear end shunt at some point in it's life and badly repaired Wife loved it but had to go when I found out about the sills and bodges a year later.

But my next car will be a trip of over 1200 miles which involves going from Orkney to Peterborough and back again when my dad gets a new car and gives me his V50 might as well make a holiday of it as well

I'm from Stockport bought Puff from a guy in Burntisland the other side of edinburgh. 500+ miles in the day. The return trip was a lot quicker though!

Salut

Default 185 Mile Round Trip

Brighton to Bishop's Stortford, 185 mile round trip, taken twice, the first one to test drive it - closest, nearly new, manual XC60 I could find at the time.

Well worth the effort!
