still havn't got manual, does any body no of an outlet for one of these, i have tried everywere, it seems that haynes don't make them i have just aquired a cd manual off ebay but this isn't as plain as the good old manuals, it seems very strange that this must be the only car that a hard copy manual is not available, anyone got any ideas on this, pete.

Hi Pete, the only one you can get is the Chilton manual number 72302. As this manual is based on USA/Canada models it covers from 200 to 900 series. It is available through Haynes where it has the number C72302. Haynes own Chilton and are thus able to sell you the manual in UK. Apart from this there is only the Green books from Volvo at an exorbitant price.

All the best, Peter

Well if Haynes had done one for the 960 it would probably have been as useful as the one for the 940 , rubbish is a good word for it. It's very poor in comparison to many of there other offerings, even taking into the normal run of errors .I'm only glad i paid £13 for mine which was not worth the trouble ,it could have been worse i could have paid full price £19. 99.

hi peter, i have contacted haynes, with your info and it seems that they do not deal with chilton books in the uk, i have sinse ordered a manual covering the 960 from amazon books £7.75 second hand, allthough i did find some very usefull info on line free, covering 37 pages of technical problems and how to mend and also the relavant torque settings, regards, pete
