Default Instrument cluster replacement

I have an imported s60R from Japan in the UK. How do I replace the km clocks to mph. Can I purchase 2nd hand instrument cluster?

I believe the languages of the DIM (in the lower left word window) as well as the miles vs. km selection is done through a VIDA at a dealership or someone who owns one.

I've read just swapping one from a breaker yard can create communications problems if ever you need diagnostics.

Also, the km/hour scale of numbers on the dial's face need to be masked.

You should have a MPH readout in the digital cluster if you scroll through the options.

why would you need to mask it - every uk car ive ever seen has km and mph on the dials as standard
