did you replace the inner tie rods as I didn't and I think that will be my next thing. If you are going to look at the shocks your probably better off swapping all the componants in there as I didn't change the isolator or rubber cup that sits between the spring and the strut base. I am going to order new springs and the other bits and then put it on my to do list I wish I had just ordered the lot to begin with but couldn't afford it at the time.

If I ever win the lottery I'll pick a forum member every week for a year and buy them upgraded or replacement parts to the value of £500. It would be a shame to lose more X40's due to 'uneconomical' repairs.

Not before you have had to remove the calipers on all corners to actually be able to fit them.

80's early 90's wheels were not good god we had 3 spokes lol,everyone raved about them back then lol,and actually when they first came out they were cool,but now they are anorak not even the chavs would want them spinners or not lol
