As above.

I think as long as the Din plug is the same the unit will work. The Yatours are custom programmed for each stereo series, so this one was all the 900 series.

If your thinking of buying I would email Yatour and check before you place your order.

Do you know if the purple and yellow wire you took the power from is permanent live or is it only live with the radio on? I'm assuming it doesn't need a permanent live feed...

Perfect, I would have been reluctant to wire it in permanently. Thanks

Just wanted to say a massive "Thank You" for this guide. Installed one of these into my 2000 C70 last weekend, and this made it an absolute doddle. Thanks again.

i've fitted one to my Volvo s40t4 sc-805 today - the best audio upgrade you can get for this money without spoiling authentic double din look of the original high quality volvo unit! I just can't stand aftermarket crap units even from the big names like Sony etc.... No more scratched thrown out CDs plus my Ipod video sounds terrific via AUX input!

Totally agree. In my eyes the best thing is they way it works with the orig head unit and it tucked safely out of the way.

No little knob is going to wreck the dash to remove a Volvo brand stereo which has a cassette player. However the truth is that it was in fact made by Alpine and sounds fantastic.

I've been in a few other volvos where people have replaced the OE double din Alpine unit (mid to higher end versions) with modern Pioneer/Sony jobs, and the sound is pathetic, I reckon its because they are not using the power amp thats lurking in the dash/under the seat and just powering the speakers directly = pish (needs a bigger internal amp).

Question on the Yatour job, anyone have the bluetooth variant? As all my music sits on my phone, so idea was that if it connects via bluetooth with the stereo buttons be able to skip tracks? Currently the phone sits on a 3.5mm jack on an input hack, but fed up of rustling noise on rough roads (jack moves inside phone socket), and can't change tracks whilst on the move unless I have a passenger to do it.

I ordered the Bluetooth jobby today, so once I find a moment to fit it, I'll let you know.

I hope it does, if not i'll just put all the music on my phone onto a spare sd card.
