Given the condition of the rest of the car im assuming its been looked after for the majority of its life, until possibly the last 12mo where im guessing that it changed owners as the different stamp was in the book

Cambelt is in reasonable condition ie not obviously cracking - however i will get it replaced as a matter of course.

At the moment im going to concentrate on the gearbox and PCV as the cam cover is coated in oil from the oil cap.. ill probably drop the sump while im at it.

Theres also a issue with the idle/light throttle dropping and then flaring as the ETM tries to catch it - but this could be PCV/dirty throttle/air leak related... and it doesnt do it all the time and there are no codes generated so ill have to spend some more time with VIDA.
bear in mind its not an oil pan so to speak, its a big chunk of aluminium that needs to be rebeaded with sealant
