  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Any chance of seeing the LED headlights on at night compared to some bog standard H4's?

If i could find that photo of the "light-out" then yes, still hunting though.

Remembered an old flash-drive so had a look :


Left, Chinabay Xenon-look Halogens, Middle, these LED bulbs, right a few month old Nightbreakers


From above the rear lights so the real difference can be seen!

All 3 cars used the same headlamps, all headlamps in excellent condition and earlier aligned on the same Beamsetter. Closest real-world comparison you're likely to get.

yeah, not showing in Chrome @ work, but ok in Chrome @ home. Weird.

Depends whether your MoT centres (WoF centres even!) demand to see the paperwork or not. The LED headlamp bulbs certainly give a better output, crisper, whiter etc and no light in the dazzle zone so shouldn't be a problem unless you have one seriously fussy tesster.
