Default Headunit Woes

I'm having some head-unit problems and can't figure it out anymore.

I have a 2007 V70, it has the Hu-850 with Dolby amp, and it has the phone and satnav etc. It had a fault which appears to be common so I've replaced with a Pioneer single din unit

These are the cables I have for fitting

I have only fitted the left one as I can't find a plug for the other one. So that powers up the headunit etc, great!

I have also fitted the adapter for the amp. It goes to the grey amp cable, leaving the black amp cable empty (could this be the issue)

The stereo turns on, radio works, but sound only comes from the front, seems like only door speakers. When I use the fader to the back I lose all sound. Any thoughts? Have I fitted the wrong cables or do I need something else?

I have always used Autoleads for any kind of audio modification. They accomodate almost all combinations of fitment.

I have already entered your vehicle details in this link for you.
