A question for C30 owners...
Hello Everyone.
I've just ordered a new C30 DRIVe, and I'd like to get a "Disklok" steering wheel lock for it. However, they come in 3 sizes, and I don't know what the outer diameter of the C30's steering wheel is. So, I was wondering if one of you lovely C30 owners would be good enough to measure your steering wheel, and let me know what the outer diameter is. I would go back to the dealers and do it myself, but the closest one is 30 miles away from where I live. Many thanks |

Thanks for the reply Kizzer. I had a look at the pics of your C30 - very nice!
I imagine that the R-Design's sports steering wheel will be a bit smaller than the standard one. Could you measure it for me anyway, just in case they're the same? Many thanks. |

Just curious, but why fit one in the first place? Modern immobilisers are so good you have to steal the keys to nick a car these days so it won't make any difference whether it's there or not (unless you keep the key separate?).
Not having a dig or anything, genuine question, just wondering what the advantage of having one would be. |

You're right, it's probably not necessary, it's just that I'm insanely paranoid about my car getting stolen (I literally have nightmares about it ) so I thought a Disklok would make for a nice, big, visual deterrent.

It's more likely to get unwanted attention with a Disklok & those lowlife might just kick a mirror off or key, it just to p*** you off (& you thought you were paranoid before ) Relax, the cars totally secure, let it blend in ~ worrying about it will surely dampen the enjoyment of ownership
