I have had similar LED bulbs for quite a while now and no problems, but don't really expect them to light your way, you'll still have to turn on the main H7 headlight to see in the dark.

So where can I buy the LED bulbs you have fitted & what make/model number are they?

Ta, Dave
Do you know if they are worth the money to get yours or the £4 ones I put a link on?

Ta again, Dave

By the bluish colour of the light, I'd guess they're 8000k but not sure.
As for the HID kit, I'd get a 6000k 35w + error cancelers, and ground the ballasts directly to the chassis to avoid burning out the wiper motor.

Those T10s are not Philips, can't really remember what make they were, they cost 11€ each.

You can fit any T10 LED diode in the parking lights position without fear of electrical problems, and any H7 55w halogen bulb as the main headlight... I had Osram Nightbreakers before, now I have Philips Night Guide type S.

Btw., inappropriate bulbs don't cause real problems, all you'll get is a "bulb out" warning on the dash, nothing more.

Dave, personally speaking I would not buy them for a few reasons.
1..they do not tell you anything about the SMD chip type, look more like 1210's.
2..no reference to any lumen output rating, you have no idea how bright they are.
3..No actual picture of them illuminated at night.

EBay is filled with appropriate LED's, go take a look.

Consider how bright you really need them.
If you have the DRL feature enabled and the headlight permanently on, do you need really bright side-lights? Having said that, no point in going too dim either.

I have these: 180483629080 (ebay)

DRL's are turned off via a software switch. You need to visit Volvo to have this done!

As Jason says DRL's are a software upgrade from Volvo and as written elsewhere my quotes for this came in at:

Volvo Dealer £50+vat
Independent Volvo: £45+vat
Independent Volvo: £25+vat

So shop around for best price....
