Another plus point the smoke was minimal and my fuel consumption has been greatly improved ( if not lead footing it obviously) 49.3 mpg over 3 tanks full. So all in all very pleased with my purchase. I have graphs if anyone wants to see them.
Would be nice if you could post the graphs on here.

Very interested.

Will do after work tomorrow buddy. I think you will be as amazed as I was at the power and torque curves, both smooth and the power held right until the redline. The only dip in the curve was the usual initial opening of the wastegate.

Thanks.

Tempting still... but I cant imagine what it would do to the front tyre wear, which is already diabolical on the TDI.

Reports from members on here is that it 'feels' as quick as a stock T5 ?

Having owned both I would say they are correct, although the tdi picks up a lot quicker but does run out of steam before the t5, but to 80mph no contest. As far as tyre wear goes it all depends on how you drive it really, mine is no worse than standard.

Martin I was wondering whether you can recall if the P1 TDi has an 8 or 10 pin injection pump plug please as this needs to be specified at the time of ordering and I dont have the car with me at the moment.

Thanks again

Yes still working great really. Cannot remember off the top of my head but if you email ron he should know.

I figured in the end that at 3/4 power (approx. 165bhp) I was getting nigh on 50 mpg normal driving too. Now however I am getting less because I've been tinkering more and now have lots more power
