Default 2001 V40 Diesel

Hello I am looking for some help in diagnosing a problem.

I have a 51 plate V40 Diesel it has about 80K on the clock.

At the moment it hits a massive flat spot at 1500 rpm. If you are on a flat road you can be extra light with the throttle and ease it past and things start to happen again. But if you are going up a hill, then you are losing power and speed very quickly.

Thanks.

i had something similar happen to my s40 diesel and while i'm no expert i'd look at the air flow meter & the fuel filter.
