Default P1800es auto on Ebay at £366

I'm sure it won't stay at £366 for long. The body is in a terrible state, and I would love to try to restore it. Are panels still available, or is it a fabrication job?

I agree, 'Offgrid', although I have seen a lot worse! J.

Seller says good examples are going for £30k. A bit optimistic I think; perhaps he's confusing it with a coupe. I consider my car to be a good example and it's not going to fetch £30k. One went on Mathewsons a while back for around £18K that looked immaculate but may have had issues. My own car was bought from them for £10K and the bodywork is really good but it had a lot of issues with the fuel injection and ignition. Got it working pretty good now though!

I think the seller meant to say "to make this a good example its going to cost circa 30K". Absolute sick of this crap with dealers, they pull a wreck from a hedge and think it is worth a fortune. They know well some of these examples are not economically viable to restore. The amount of filler on the front end should give you an idea of the condition of the rest of the car. Its a shame as the interior looks savable.

That's a rust bucket. They are fully welded bodies and not that well made from new. Body panels are expensive and over 1000hours of work to get that in a good quality condition. £366 is all it's worth unless breaking for parts.

Wow
It's up to £740 at the moment, and looks as if it has further to go.

Without wishing to spoil anyone's delight at a future restoration, however could the parts be worth that sum of money alone .....?
