Just bought myself a set of these, anyone on the forum use them, recommend them, doesn't recommend them?

Kevlar pads are similar to green stuff or red stuff pads and work better the hotter they get, do you really drive that fast laney?
You may find they will take some time to "bed in" due to the extra hard formulation of the pads, the kevlar pads along with the above mentioned green and red stuff pads are formulated for high performance motorcycles and cars, they generate a lot less brake dust than standard pads but perform best when hot.

They were only £3 on Ebay, I looked on the website, never saw anything about fast driving, saw they were organic and feel 'softer' than other pads and that many driver's prefer them but thats about all I found. My front brakes do get very hot indeed, it's been in the garage for this numerous times, sometimes you cannot touch the front wheels, and they can find nothing wrong so maybe they will suit the car (or driver!)

Thanks Steve

No, it's been in several times, I've worked on them lots too, a Volvo mechanic said there is nothing wrong with them. I have told a different garage I'll drop it in one day, my bosses' garage, if they can't find anything then I give up

Cheapest pads from EBC are £16.73, tread carefully girl. I hope I am wrong but you cannot afford to get it wrong with your brakes.
Can you post the item number for the pads please.

Don't forget my motor is 24 years old and they probably don't sell some of these parts for ages and get fed up with them sitting on the shelf. The only person on the forum who had the identical motor to me got banned, I am the only 764 TD owner on here now afaik
