Hi all,
Today I have had my ABS ECU swapped so that I have a fully functioning motor. Well, I did till I got 100 yards up the road from the garage. Then the light came back on plus the traction control light. The guy at the the garage said the ecu's were different so I guess it is the reason why it no work. So, £40 plus price of ECU to gain one extra light on the dash....boooo!!! Anyway, on a positive note, it means I can now send my original ECU off to be repaired. So my quetion is....who do you recommend? I guess hundreds of you must have been down this route before, so I'm also guessing that there are well recommended wielders of soldering irons...and no I am not one of them. lol Any advice will, again, be appreciated. Thanks Oliver |
