Exclamation fault codes and messages, Help please.

hi, i have a V50 1.6d 59 plate,

i had problem with my car last night at work when the car went into limp mode and i had to call the breakdown, i plugged in my OBD II reader in and has come up with these fault code P061b, P193b, P1577 and the car now reads Anti-Skid service required and Engine system service required.

I only brought the car 5 months ago and it has a just been through a service then.

any advice would be appreciated and rough costs as well (if poss)

thanks in advance.

Probably the well known syndrome of the disturbed CEM...

Search on here and you'll find lots about it: basically check that all the connections to the CEM are firm and dry.

It lives under the dashboard above the passenger foot-well, has little protection (just a thin covering piece of material) gets easily kicked and is removed to change he cabin filter (you say car had a service recently).

On what you describe I would be pretty certain that's the answer to your problems.

Unhappy

i have looked and all the connectors are as they should and are all dry.

i check my brake fluid level and that's full.

weirdly the lights have not come on this morning as i drove to work and the car drove fine! (fault code are still present though).
