Default 8th Gen Civic Steel Wheels

Ive got what feels like an imbalance on my V50 which I've had since I've owned it. I've tried wheel balance etc but I've never really gotten rid of it. So, my plan is to put some wheels on the front smaxle try the car then the rear axle to try and nail down the issue. I've got access to some Honda 8th Gen steel rims but does anyone know if they fit or not before I commit to borrowing them?

Cheers for that, the vibration is starting to annoy now.

Might be the wishbone rear bushings? They're a common failure and can lead to a feeling of swaying and indirect steering though best indication is vibration under braking.

I've had similar issue on mine, so far had the wheels balance twice, and checked for buckles etc, had it in to 2 garages first garage thought it was a geometry issue but didn't want to touch it as I had non standard wheels (8.5j wheels running 225/40 R18s), kept to this even when I said the issue was there on the old standard wheels aswell, I advised the virbration got worse under braking at high speed and that I thought it may have been warped discs, but he said they checked the discs and pads and these were fine.

Was in a second garage on Monday they checked the discs on the rollers, and said they were warped, I asked them to check the bushes as well, they said these looked fine so I got them to change the discs and pads.

So far it feels better but I've not done any motorway driving yet to see if its solved the vibration issues I was having between 70-80, but it definately feels better under braking. Hopefully that's it sorted as kind of running out of ideas, as only things left are bushes and tracking, but I doubt tracking issue would get worse under braking
