Wanted: T5/T6 and/or M90 manual gearbox
Wanted for a 245 project.
I'd like a 2.3 or 2.4 T5 or maybe a T6 engine. Preferably complete with loom but I'll consider bare engines for the right price. Also I'd like a manual M90 gearbox from a whiteblock engine. I think the 960 is the source of these. Thanks Jonny |

If you're happy with a 6 then you'd be better off sourcing a manual 960, however that's easier said than done..

You're right. I've had the feelers out for months and not found any manual 960's.
Might have to do it the hard way and adapt a BMW 'box |

Aiming for 300 at the crank. Or there abouts.
I'm not chasing big power, I'd rather its usable and nice to drive. Smooth idle, fairly linear power delivery etc I've seen some RX8 gearbox adapters from Poland as it happens. I think that might be a good route. Might make clutch and flywheel a slight headache though. |
