Hi all,

Bearings in my power steering are starting to give a rather loud marbles in a tin sound and wondered if anyone had a PAS pump that would fit and if so how much would you want for it posted?

Regards

When getting another pump you have to be carful to get the correct pipe fitting as one has the screw fitting over the pipe and one the pipe pushes in and it has a screw on the side to fit it to the pump,
I got a band new one about a year or so ago from ebay for about £120

Any idea of mileage?

Seen them on ebay for about 100 for a brand new one, but i'm only planning on spending little on this car now but want to run it for ages, bodywork is getting the dreaded tin worm on front wing and a rear arch. It's been a cat d in the past, it owes me nothing but like driving it and don't want to spend too much on it as will be looking for a 2006 D5 in the future, time depending on how it does at MOT time, just don't want to risk it dropping a belt and foobaring the engine as the engine is good and strong.

How much was the refurbishing cost?

Thanks for all the input so far.
