Default Wanted 480 Celebration/Turbo

I am currently looking for a 480 Celebration in very good/excellent condition. Would also consider a late model Turbo.

Auto or manual gearbox

One real stipulation please is that it must be rust free!

Thanks

Chris

Please could you email me/PM me rather than leave a message - that way I can not only get the message quicker, but it doesn't annoy my wife who thinks I should be sectioned for wanting another 480!

Here you go Chris, here is one of the best 480 Celebrations around at the moment.

If I had the spare cash I would snap DCW's hand off for this.

LINKY!

All the best,

Brian.

Chris

I have PM'd you.

As stated in my for sale post, she is not totally rust free, but I think it is very early stages, and were I keeping her I'd tackle it now, to stop it before it really takes hold.

Otherwise I honestly think she would tick all the boxes.

Thank you for the responses - much appreciated.

If possible I am really looking for one which has had its arches done for all sorts of reasons, and appreciate it would be more to buy than the one being offered which does indeed tick all the other boxes.

Kind regards

Chris

Not wishing to be the fly in the ointment so to speak,

but from seeing what another fellow member has done to get her rear arches repaired, ie cut out the rust and new metal replaced on her 440 only to have them rot through a few months after it not something i would wish to happen to you.

however you seem to know what you want, so i may be poking holes unecessarily

Many thanks for the advice - I appreciate it and this could be a real problem as it is not possible to tell how well they have been repaired. I also remember my own attempts at repairing rust on my first car - absolute disaster!

I was lucky with my grey 480 the repairs lasted over 10 years before any rust re-appeared.

'dcw' has put it far better in a PM than I did in my original posting - I am looking for a 480 which doesn't need anything doing to it!

Regards

Chris
