Not a Good Start

I collected my long-awaited and much anticipated new SE Lux Premium D5 XC60 yesterday, parting with my lovely '07 BMW 330d SE coupe. All went cheerfully until the salesman was demonstrating the (Dynaudio/DAB/subwoofer) stereo, when it appeared that all was not well with it. I spent 2 hours sitting drinking coffee I didn't want and watching the same items repeating on Sky News while technicians diagnosed and by-passed a faulty DAB module. The car has to go back anyway because the rear skid plate hasn't arrived yet, so they can replace the DAB module then. They can also check the clutch pedal, which makes a strange rustling/clicking noise on approximately 2 out of every 3 depressions.

Is this a foretaste of Volvo ownership? Did they (Taggarts of Glasgow) bother with a proper PDI?
