Heated washer
Hi, any one know if you can retro fit heated wash jets to a 2005 s40 sport? Did a mot on a 05 focus and see it had them!

Just reading this now, but thought of heated jets was always in my head - had them on 1st gen S40 (2003) and loved it, simple but brilliant idea.
Would Focus nozzles be the same to ours (suspect the same FoMoCo parts) as for fitment? did anyone actually have them in our models? part of winter pack or what?

I'm guessing wherever fitted as standard on any car then the heaters will be enable automatically via the outside temp/CEM. This is where it would get messy for us because software.
TBF if you dilute your screenwash correctly in winter they shouldn't freeze up.....although I have had them freeze when covered in snow.

Correct screenwash doesnt help, to be honest, if there is frosted rain on your bonnet in the morning - had this numerowus of times (screenwash didnt freeze but nozzles did externally).

Not sure I recall that being available. There's no mention of heated washer jets in S40s or V50s in any of the product brochures that I can see from 2004-2010.
I've looked on VIDA and there's no mention of heated washer nozzle parts so I'm unconvinced this actually exists for our cars.

agreed, hence my surprise when it was mentioned. BUT it also made me think that if Focus has it and its highly possible our jets are identical in shape...... you get me right?
