Hmm not really desirable until there's only a handful left. £250-350 I would think.

I hope you two are joking?

These are very, very reliable and have a multitude of engine conversion options plus they look damn good and are cheap to insure. They are lightweight so with the right engine they are a real sleeper, even the 1.4 has enough go to light up the wheels.

300 series Volvo's are highly sought after by three types of people. Collectors, modifiers and drifters.

If it is as good as it sounds and lowered already then it will probably be worth £600 maybe more.

If it is a 1.7 it will be more sought after because it will be easier to convert to a Renault F7P or F7R engine.

As 360beast says, a vastly underrated car nowadays. Ignoring the sporting fraternity it is still a nice car to drive: the comfort of a 240GL (I know - we have both), the access for maintenance and classic car insurance. On some, the lack of power steering can be a handful (in more ways than one!).
The only drawback with a 1;7 - some insurers limit youngster insurance cover to 1.4 litre engines.
If viewing to purchase, check known rust areas - sills and on certain colour combinations the upper door trim areas.
