Powered Wing Mirror won't stop

Weird one with my wing mirror on passenger side.
The mirror is of the powered variety and when I fold them in it works fine, however when I open them to normal position the passenger one will keep going all until it well past the normal stop point. I am assuming some stop spigot off something is broken off. If I push the mirror as it is opening it will stop so is guess the sensor is working and i can get in to a usable position, though it is a bit loose.

I have had the door panel off and the wing mirror out but cannot see what is broken. Anyone else seen this before?
