Default Locking wheel nut key

Have got a C70 and my husband has lost the locking wheel nut key, any ideas where I can get a new one?

Hi Denise,
I wouldn't be able to give you a definitive answer but there are other threads covering locking wheel nuts. I think it depends on the year of the car as to who Volvo were using to supply the locking wheel nuts. Hopefully a more senior or clued up member will be able to help if you are able to give a bit more info. about your C70 model, year & spec. etc.
Regards
Fred

similarly, no expertise in locking wheel nuts, but a photo of the one on the car in question will probably be worth the proverbial 1000 words.

As Clan said above, but also if it is the McGard type then go here
https://www.mcgard.de/en/customer-se...ement-key.html

Call McGard customer services hotline: 00800 25993400 which is free of charge for D, F, GB, I, E, NL, S, P, & PL

or you can email: cs(at)mcgard.de asking for a replacement key and attaching a photo of one of the lock bolt heads

There are other posts which do not rate the McGuard very highly. If yours is such, once you have obtained said key those posts suggest replacing the McGuard security bolt with something else, even just a standard bolt.
